Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

Our adventure begins in Tangier! We’ll head to the famous Hercules Cave, then continue through the Rif Mountains towards Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl.” Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as we arrive in this picturesque town, a photographer’s paradise.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes

After breakfast at your Riad, we embark on a journey to Volubilis, a fascinating Roman archaeological site. We’ll learn about its rich history before continuing to Meknes, a 17th-century city known for its massive walls and historical sites. Here, we’ll enjoy lunch and explore the impressive Bab El Mansour gate and Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum. Finally, we reach Fes for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Exploring Fes

Today, we delve into the vibrant city of Fes, Morocco’s oldest. We’ll wander its narrow alleys with a professional guide, visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and other significant sites. Overnight in Fes.

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga Dunes

An early start as we depart Fes and head towards the Sahara Desert. We’ll take a break near the stunning Ifrane National Park, nicknamed “the Switzerland of Morocco,” for photos. Next, we’ll spot Barbary macaques (monkeys) in the cedar forest of Azrou before a lunch stop in Midelt. The afternoon brings us through the Tizi N’Telghomt pass, offering panoramic views of the Ziz Gorges, perfect for capturing memories. We’ll continue to Erg Chebbi Dunes, passing by Aoufous and Erfoud, the “capital of fossils” where you can visit a local workshop (optional). Finally, we arrive at our desert camp for a camel ride to witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner and overnight in a traditional nomad tent.

Day 5: Merzouga to Dades Gorges

Wake up to a magical desert sunrise (weather permitting) and enjoy a peaceful camel ride back to the hotel. After breakfast and a shower, we depart for Todgha Gorges, a paradise for rock climbers. We’ll take a short hike before reaching Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Dades Gorges to Marrakech

Our journey continues via the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to the Valley of Roses (particularly stunning in April and May). We’ll head to Ouarzazate before reaching the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a beautifully restored fortified village. After exploring and enjoying lunch, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, taking in breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages. We arrive in Marrakech for an overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 7: Exploring Marrakech

A full day awaits to discover the captivating city of Marrakech, founded in the 12th century. With your guide, you’ll explore highlights like the Saadian Tombs, Menara Garden, Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the bustling Souks, and the Djemaa el-Fna Square. Enjoy a free evening exploring the vibrant square before your overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 8: Marrakech to Essaouira

Essaouira, a charming coastal town previously known as Mogador, awaits! This “darling” of tourists is famous for its local handicrafts, especially thuja wood furniture and artwork found in its many shops. After arriving midday, enjoy free time to explore the Atlantic coast at your own pace. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 9: Essaouira to Marrakech or Casablanca

After soaking up the coastal atmosphere, we return to Marrakech or Casablanca (or back to Tangier, depending on your chosen itinerary).

Day 1: Meet you in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Day 4: Fes – Merzouga Dunes – Erg Chebbi

Early morning we start our Morocco Grand Tour From Tangier to towards the Sahara from the Riad in Fes, crossing near the national park of Ifrane « the Switzerland of Morocco » as it calls. To enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos, a break will be taken. Then, we will head towards Azrou to see the Barbary Apes Merzouga monkeys in the cedar forest. We Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. By the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Telghomt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges which offers amazing photographic opportunities. Later on, we will have a stop in a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud the capital of fossils, where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. We will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel ride for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. Overnight and dinner in nomad tent campsite.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha gorges – Dades gorges

If you wake up early enough, the Sahara desert offers an amazing sunrise. Afterward, you’ll peacefully ride the camels back to your hotel in the edge of the dunes appreciate in the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with first lights. After breakfast and shower, we will leave towards Todgha gorges well known as an important destination for rock climbers. The highest and narrow west gorges in Morocco, where we can do some walking before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: Dades gorges – Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

Our Morocco Grand Tour From Tangier will start o driving via the road of thousand kasbahs to reach the valley of the roses; always spectacular in April and May when the roses bloom. We head towards Ouarzazate city, then to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou the most restored ksar in the south which classified by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
